Fly fishing is a popular hobby all over Finland and Scandinavia, and in Lapland it’s more than a hobby – it’s a whole lifestyle!

In Kilpisjärvi area there are many lakes, ponds and rivers full of northern fish species such as graylings, arctic chars and white fishes. Your local guide is specialised in all of those, so name a fish you want to catch and you’ll be guided to the best fishing waters of that particular species. 

This tour is suitable for every skill level, from beginners with little experience to experienced fishers. The tour will be customised to suit your skill level.

You can also try fishing on a belly boat if requested beforehand, the rental price is 50€ per belly boat.

Duration: 4 or 8 hours. Group size: recommendation is 1-2 people. Max. 3 people.

Price: 350€/4h/1-2 people (3. person +50€) or 650€/8h/1-2 people (3. person +100€). Includes transports from and to Kilpisjärvi village, private guiding, fly fishing rods & flies, and coffee/tea.

Student offer: 300€/6h/1-3 students with valid student cards.

Note: Everyone over 18 years need to have valid fishing permits. We’ll assist you to buy a right permit beforehand, if needed.

SEA TROUT FLY FISHING TRIP TO NORWAY

Full-day guided fly fishing trip to the fjords of Norway.

Kilpisjärvi Village is located nearby the border of Norway so it's easy to make a day trip to the Lyngenfjord, which is a sea trout fly fishing paradise. 

This day trip is suitable for every skill level, from beginners with little experience to experienced fishers. The tour will be customised to suit your skill level.

Duration: 10 hours. Group size: recommendation is 1-2 people. Max. 3 people.

Price: 850€/10h/1-2 people (3. person +180€). Includes transports from and to Kilpisjärvi village, private guiding, fly fishing flies, coffee / tea & packed outdoor meal.

GROUSE HUNTING EXPERIENCE 2H

Join the willow grouse hunting trip of a local hunter!

On this little adventure you'll join me and my hunting dog Kira on our normal willow grouse hunting day trip.

I will lead you to the grouse hunting lands nearby Kilpisjärvi Village. While my dog searches for the birds, I’ll tell you about traditional grouse hunting in Lapland.

Available from mid-September to the end of March.

Includes private guiding and the local guide who has valid hunting permits.

TRAINING DAY FOR BIRD HUNTING DOGS

Fun and improving training day for you and your dogs!

The extensive hunting lands of Käsivarsi Wilderness Area full of willow grouses enables the rare opportunity to train the skills of your dog(s).

You get to train your dog(s) in the best grouse hunting spots in Finland without your own local hunting permit, since you are allowed to accompany your local hunting guide on this tour. Your guide may shoot a bird for your dog or make a miss shoot, whichever you prefer.

Duration: 8h per day. Group size: 1-3 dogs.

Prices:

1 dog 300€/day

2 dogs 400€/day

3 dogs 450€/day

Includes private guiding (the local guide has a shotgund and valid hunting permits) and packed outdoor meal for humans.

Note: Training camps have a daily quota of one bird per dog. Training camps are arranged during the willow grouse hunting season, i.e. from mid-September to March.

WILLOW GROUSE HUNTING TOURS IN LAPLAND

We arrange privately guided willow grouse hunting tours for beginners and experienced hunters in Arctic Lapland – Northern Finland, Norway and Sweden. Tours will be customised to suit your skill levels and wishes!

Grouse hunting season in Enontekiö: 10.9.-31.3.

Group size: 1-2 people ja 1-2 dogs. For bigger groups we will take another hunting guide.
